In this book, 'Eudaimonia' is what Aristotle is discussing and explaining how to do/achieve it. Its human fulfilment, not happiness but being the best version of yourself. Im just tryna interpret it and see wut it is all 'bout. You can correct me if im wrong.

Aristotle Chapter 1.2

wussup so this isawdoawidjs what he is saying and stuff and thisis what i think hes saying.

Book I.1

Aristotle starts the book of with confidently stating that all human actions aimt at some good. At this point he hasnt defined what this 'good' is, but that doesnt matter just yet as you must take that as a statement or a rule of actions. What he is essentially saying is that everything we do, we do because we think its going to benefit us in the end. When we eat food we stay away from hunger and thats good! or when we educate our children, they can grow up to be successful and happy. Everything we do is what we believe(thus "aim") is going to benefit us in the end.

Furthermor, he states that there are some goods that are subordinate to others. Actions such as purchasing paint for a painting, or shipbuilding, or stocking shelves at your workplace. These have a slightly more distant connection to his initial statement, but these are actions that simply serve bigger purposes like thus painting a picture, or doing your job and receiving your payment. Ultimately, it all is what we aim at and thats 'good'.
